"Love Letters" by AR Gurney - reader's theatre

ACTS is proud to present a reader's theatre experience with AR Gurney's "Love Letters". Join us for the epistolary journey between Andrew (portrayed by Jeremy Kinnett), an ambitious but slightly uptight young man, and Melissa (played by Kat Baute), a free but flighty spirit, as they write the story of their lives. This powerful testimony to the strength of love across time and distance begins with a simple invitation to a third-grade birthday party and flows like ink through the years of correspondence between the two friends. Experience the full catharsis of emotion as we share their highs, their lows, their differences, and their love for each other that changes and grows throughout their lives.

Performances will be June 16-17 & 23-24, 2017. Doors will open at 7:00pmET; show will begin at 7:30pmET. Tickets will be $12/person and will be available at the door and online. There will be one intermission; concessions will be available before the show and during the intermission.

*This is a reader's theatre. The actors will have their scripts with them to allow them to focus more on the words and emotions, rather than the actions that a standard play would require.
